SI develops, builds and operates clean power, energy networks and LNG and net-zero solutions, that are expected to play a crucial role in the energy systems of the future.
The company has LNG facilities and development projects on the Pacific and Gulf Coasts of North America, along with 1,500 MW of clean energy projects and a development pipeline of 3,000 MW of solar, wind and battery storage projects. SI is also a leader in North American network infrastructure with more than 4,500 miles of natural gas transportation and distribution pipelines and a refined products terminal network under development and operation.
A wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) completed the acquisition of a 10% non-controlling stake in Sempra Infrastructure Partners in June 2022. The investment aligns with the Infrastructure Department’s focus on opportunities related to the energy transition, where it seeks to support leading companies at the forefront of this major global theme.
SI continues to focus on making new investments that expand energy networks in the U.S. and Mexico to support improved energy and climate security, while also developing next generation technologies like carbon sequestration and clean hydrogen.
