Call and Meeting Recording
Where applicable, ADIA may record telephone calls or virtual meetings on behalf of itself and its affiliates for purposes such as compliance, fraud prevention and record-keeping.
Participants will be informed where a recording takes place.
Purpose of recording
The recording is used solely for:

Verifying the authenticity of third-party bank account details and payment instructions

Fraud prevention and financial crime controls

Record-keeping and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims

Training
-
Audit, compliance, and internal quality assurance
The recording is not used for marketing or profiling.
Legal basis
The processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of ADIA and its affiliates, as applicable. Depending on the context, ADIA may process recordings as a controller or on behalf of an ADIA affiliate.
Who has access
Access to recordings is restricted to authorised personnel at ADIA and its affiliates and, where required, professional advisers, service providers or regulators.
Retention
Recordings are retained only for as long as necessary to meet the above purposes and applicable legal or regulatory requirements, after which they are deleted.
International transfers
Recordings may be accessed from outside the UAE, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
Depending on your location and the applicable data protection laws, you may have the right to:
